YANAYACU RAINFOREST

Our lodge is located 81 miles (140Kms.) away from Iquitos city (aprox. 4 hours in speedboat), in Loreto, Peru. During the route we see the amazing Amazon river.

Yanayacu is enormously rich in biodiversity. We have an endless variety of birds, like hoatzin, herons and eagles, among others. Some of the most exotic mammals live in our forest such as Sluggish Bears, the Pink River Dolphins, anteaters, monkeys like squirrel monkeys, capuchin monkeys and felines like Tigercats.

Also, there exists a large variety of reptiles like Anacondas and Caymans; fish like Piranhas and an infinite number of insects.

There’s a dream landscape around our lodge. The place hasn't been touched by man, except by local communities that to live in harmony with the environment.
