Visit to the town

Living next to the town of San Juan de Yanayacu gives you the opportunity of knowing how an inhabitant of the Amazonian Forest lives.

San Juan de Yanayacu is a small town located on the riverbank. The 170 inhabitants speak spanish and do not belong to any tribe as they are colonists that settled in the area a long time ago. Their most important activities are fishing, agriculture, carving and hunting, activities that make only for self subsistence (SJY news).

We organize a day visit to the town where we will appreciate their lifestyle, how they built their houses, how they think, what the main economic activities are and they will teach us the balance between man and nature.

Visit the beautiful town of San Juan de Yanayacu. A natural town in the middle of the forest.
